On November 16, 2025, the LA Galaxy and Club América played to a 2–2 draw at Dignity Health Sports Park in a postseason friendly that was cut short due to lightning.
Club América opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Víctor Dávila, who capitalized on a defensive error. LA Galaxy responded quickly, with Christian Ramirez finishing an assist from Mauricio Cuevas to equalize. Dávila restored América’s lead before halftime with his second goal, but the Galaxy answered again as Gabriel Pec converted another Cuevas cross to make it 2–2 before the break.
The second half saw fewer clear chances as both teams made adjustments and tightened defensively. In the 86th minute, the match was suspended due to severe weather and ultimately ended early.
